League of Legends (shortly LoL, meaning in Turkish: League of Legends), the video game that was modified and published by Riot Games, was released on 27 October 2009 as the first game of Riot Games with the name "League of Legends: Clash of Fates". It is a MOBA type strategy game. The game Warcraft III map, Defense of the Ancients, is in the sample application. The game's lead designer is Defense of the Ancients (DotA) design designer Steve Feak.
